Seahawks could see return of Ansah, Ford and Moore Week 3

The Seahawks are now 2-0 to start the year after beating the Steelers in Pittsburgh on Sunday. Seattle is set to play at home Week 3 and could see the return of a number of players in time to square off against the New Orleans Saints.

Coach Pete Carroll gave a number of injury updates during his radio interview Monday morning on 710 ESPN Seattle.

Defensive end Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder) could make his Seahawks debut in front of the home crowd at CenturyLink Field. The defensive end resumed practice recently but was inactive for Seattle for the first two matchups.

Defensive tackle Poona Ford (calf) and wide receiver David Moore (shoulder) could also be healthy enough to face the Saints.

“Yeah, we’re counting on him really having a big week and getting back,” Carroll said of Ansah. “David Moore has a chance. They are practicing to play this week. With a real clear intent. So we think we made the process work for them.”

Carroll will address the media with further updates at 3:00 p.m. PT.
