Titans' Corey Davis, DeMarco Murray sidelined by hamstring injuries

Titans wide receiver Corey Davis (84) talks with Titans offensive coordinator Terry Robiskie during training camp practice Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at Saint Thomas Sports Park.

Five observations from the Titans' fifth day of training camp Thursday at Saint Thomas Sports Park:

Davis leaves early

Titans rookie wide receiver Corey Davis, the fifth overall pick in the draft, left training camp practice with a hamstring injury Thursday and is having an MRI to determine the extent of the injury, Titans coach Mike Mularkey said.

Davis walked into the building with trainers after once again impressing in one-on-one drills.

He has starred on the practice field since his one-day holdout.

Murray misses practice

DeMarco Murray also has a hamstring injury, Mularkey said. The Titans' starting running back was not on the field during Thursday's practice in full pads. But the injury is considered minor. He is day-to-day.

A trainer worked on Murray's legs during practice Monday, and the running back was limited Tuesday. The team had Wednesday off.

Murray came out of the building to watch the final practice session Thursday.

Decker, Taylor move around

With Davis out, Eric Decker and rookie Taywan Taylor each spent time on the outside, opposite Rishard Matthews, and in the slot during drills with the first team. At one point, tight end Delanie Walker also split out wide.

Henry, Fluellen run hard

Derrick Henry continued to run like a man possessed, but he wasn't the only one to take advantage of extra reps with Murray missing practice. David Fluellen also ran hard, barreling through tackles.

Jackson picks off Mariota

Rookie first-round cornerback Adoree' Jackson intercepted Marcus Mariota on a short pass over the middle during team drills. Jackson, drafted 18th overall, is battling LeShaun Sims for a job on the outside and possibly Brice McCain for a role in the slot.
